Come to the land of the Maasai, a land of more than 30 million people, 23 national parks, 29 game reserves, lush jungles and beautiful beaches along the Indian Ocean. Kenya is about the size of Texas and is 45% Christian, although there is an Islamic stronghold along the coastal regions and in the northeast. Come share your faith with a beautiful group of people and build tin churches in at least two villages.

 

Over the past 31 years, Texas Baptist Men in partnership with Kenyan Baptist have built churches in Kenya. Many Challengers and men have traveled to this country for this life changing mission opportunity. As a result of their trip, several young men have surrendered to full time missions. This trip is for men and high school age boys who are willing to rough it for a couple of weeks in Kenya to be on mission with God.

 

Sam Dunkin, layman from Mc Dade, Texas, will be our trip coordinator. This will be Sam’s 31st trip to Kenya and he has left a part of his heart with the Kenyan people and missionaries serving there each trip. The trip is July 10th – August 18th. We will be in Miramonte Kenya building 5 churches, Mwerera, Kathangani, Kyamulikima, Kaiberia and Tsiekuru and in the Rift Valley, we will build Enkiloriti and Oltalet. We will go to the Nairobi Game Park after building these churches.
